Laura Pavilonis, MBA, CHRL

Laura Pavilonis is a magnetic and inspirational Speaker, Entrepreneur, Trainer, Coach and up-and-coming Co-Author of a ‘laugh out loud’ guide to workplace people challenges. She holds an Executive MBA and Human Resource designation and is the Co-Founder of Flashpoint Training and Development.  With over 20 years of organizational leadership experience, her contagious passion and enthusiasm combined with a fun and truly unique approach to training and development has allowed organizations to tackle their most difficult people challenges and catapult performance results to levels never reached before.

Nancy Annett, MBA, CHRL


Nancy Annett is a fun and engaging Speaker, Entrepreneur, Professor, Coach and up and coming Co-Author of a ‘laugh out loud’ guide to workplace people challenges that brings some of her key workplace insights into print.  With over 20 years in the organizational development and human resources field Nancy is a Certified Human Resource Leader who facilitates with enthusiasm, passion and genuine excitement in all she does.   She holds an Executive MBA from the Ivey School of Business and teaches in the Dan Management and Organizational Studies Program at the University of Western Ontario.    Nancy is the Co-Founder of Flashpoint Training and Development and starting her own business has given her a creative outlet for her passion to create powerful teams and help organizations thrive. 

Michelle Denniss, BPHE, BScMed

Michelle Denniss, BPE, BScMed holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and completed all Pre-Med Science courses from McMaster University.  Michelle is a certified trainer in HSEP and tiered exercise program & Senior fitness from the University of Western Ontario, inter-professional collaboration & supportive conversations.  Michelle also holds a PHD from the School of Hard Knocks!  Michelle operates on a philosophy that embraces challenges as a blessing for learning, an opportunity to prepare for something greater.  She currently works in Recreation in Long Term Care and Community Stroke Rehabilitation for the County of Elgin.  She served as Recreation Therapy Chair for the Ontario Stroke Network from 2008-2013 and has sat on the South West Ontario Stroke Network Advisory Board for Community and Long Term Care since 2008.  Michelle aspires to be a professional “joyologist”.  Laughter is the best medicine, but also the best recipe for success!


Deb Rogers, YCW, WTS

Deb Rogers, YCW, WTS is a creative technology teacher and app developer who lives somewhere between the Flintstones and the Jetsons. Her love of ancient civilizations and London Ontario is currently her focus as she develops apps about these topics for mobile devices. She has been recognized with provincial and municipal awards for her work. She has extensive background in adult education, college level program development, technology, human resources and information systems. She holds Youth Care Worker Diploma as well Web Technology Specialist. She has published one book and the second is on its way. She loves Jack Russel terriers.



Gina Kaslauskas, BSc, MBA

Gina Kaslauskas, BSc, MBA has worked in marketing in the healthcare sector for 15 years and is a professor at the Pilon School of Business. She has her Honours Bachelor of Science from McMaster University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.  Gina loves to teach and present and she is passionate about engaging learners and providing value…and humour to those she is teaching.



Laurie Gunton  BA, CRTS


Laurie Gunton  BA, CRTS  has worked in Customer Service and Sales for over 25 years in the printing industry and for Fortune 500 companies. Later, she became an entrepreneur by helping Seniors downsize (and previous owner of a successful gardening company).

Laurie has the ability to earn peoples respect and loyalty as soon as they speak with her. Some of her many attributes (listening skills, sense of humour, empathy, attention to detail and compassion) lead to long – standing relationships with business partners, clients and customers. Laurie keeps busy by volunteering (includes coaching), travelling, as well as being active at the gym.
