Overview:
Earning a CPR-C certification is one of the most valuable and practical components of the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program in Ontario. This essential training equips students with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in real emergencies, while fulfilling their sector-recognized certification requirements. CPR-C (Basic Rescuer Level) teaches students how to assess emergencies and provide lifesaving assistance for adults, children, and infants. Training includes airway management, rescue breathing, choking interventions, and the safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). With hands-on practice and scenario-based activities, students develop calm decision-making skills and the ability to take effective action when seconds matter.
