Thabisile Francis is an award-winning entrepreneur and the founder of Gloriosa, a wooden accessories brand specializing in sustainably crafted handbags, watches, and sunglasses that celebrate African craftsmanship and conscious luxury. She possesses several recognitions, including Zim Achievers Female Entrepreneur of the Year, Canada International Black Women Excellence (CIBWE) Top 100 Women to Watch, and the Canadian Choice Award.

Beyond business, Thabisile is deeply committed to community impact and health equity. She serves on multiple boards with Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), including the Family Advisory Council (FAC), and holds leadership roles as Co-Chair of the Black Health Plan and Co-Chair of the Black Student Mentorship Program. She is also an active member of two non-profit organizations supporting the Zimbabwean community.

As U of Guelph grad with an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management, she is currently a full-time professor at Humber College in the Longo Faculty of Business, and the founder of Sophie’s Run, a cancer fundraiser created in her mother’s memory.

Aric is a Lead Immersive Developer specializing in VR Unity development, with 7 years of experience creating custom immersive software in VR and AR. His job responsibilities include developing immersive experiences, managing freelance talent, and staying up to date with the latest tech.

In his spare time, Aric enjoys playing the piano, leatherworking, wood carving, learning about new technologies and working on computers, as well as playing video games.
