Post Secondary Reach Ahead
Our post-secondary Reach Ahead experiences give high school students a meaningful preview of academic life beyond graduation. Students connect directly with Ontario colleges, universities, and apprenticeship training providers to explore programs aligned with their interests. They may attend real classes, tour academic facilities, observe lab or studio environments, or interview current students about their pathways and experiences. These sessions help students understand admission expectations, program workloads, and campus culture while discovering what inspires them. By engaging with authentic post-secondary settings, students gain confidence, clarity, and a stronger sense of direction as they plan their next steps.
Sector Focused Reach Ahead
Our sector-focused Reach Ahead experiences immerse high school students in conferences and workshops led by key stakeholders across Ontario’s SHSM sectors. Whether it’s Business, Health & Wellness, Aviation, Arts & Culture, or another specialized field, students gain firsthand exposure to emerging trends, industry expectations, and real career pathways. They participate in expert-led sessions, explore innovative technologies, and hear directly from professionals shaping the sector. These events help students build confidence, deepen their understanding of industry demands, and connect their SHSM learning to real-world opportunities. All of our material has been created and reviewed by professional trainers and our board certified teachers to ensure compliance with all ministry applicable SHSM training and educationguidelines.
Our typical SHSM certifications take about 3 hours to complete – but don’t worry because our content is relatable and engaging to make sure that your students get the best possible experience.
