Overview:
Join us for a session that introduces your Grade 10 Civics & Career Students to SHSM and ICE. In 2 class periods we will move through a ‘mini ICE’, where small teams will work together to use their innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial skills to solve a ‘real’ problem they face on their career path journey. Teams will develop a solution that creates a new way of increasing opportunities for paid and volunteer work or other experiences to help them integrate course learning objectives and make more informed career choices. This session is best conducted with no more than 40 students and includes an opportunity for SHSM leads to promote SHSM programs to assist with career choices.
