  • It’s ok to agree to disagree on what the problem is and 
  • why it is a problem
  • It’s ok to take a break if the discussion isn’t going as planned
  • Everyone speaks from “I” when identifying a problem
  • Everyone agrees to actively try to see others perspectives related to perspectives around the problem
  • Effective (it will meet the goal)
  • Efficient (is affordable), and 
  • Fewest side effects (limited consequences from implementation)
