Fusion
In-Person Facilitated SHSM Certifications & SPEs (ICE, Coding, Math)
Our modules resonate with both students and teachers alike, loving the ease of completion and effectiveness of training methods.
We have worked with some amazing industry partners and have worked with youth both in elementary and high schools.
- Our day starts with our industry partner giving background on their organization and then shares a problem they are facing real-time.
- For the next few hours students work through a problem-solving process using tools such as ICE, coding or math literacy.
- At the end of the day, students present back to a panel from the organization and receive immediate feedback on their solutions.
- Prizes are available for the winning team!
Reach Ahead
- Our full-day on-site or off-site events are designed to meet the Ministry of Education’s SHSM components.
- Participants gain valuable industry transferable skills throughout the day, utilizing unique and engaging techniques while receiving two certificates of completion.
- We connect industry-based content with real world context.
- While students are learning industry required skills they get the opportunity to see actual workplaces where these skills are utilized and hear why they are so important to career success.

11:00 – 11:30 am Lunch
11:30 – 12:15 pm Get the inside scoop. See careers as never before. Tour of facility and Staff Talk sharing their passion for their work, personal stories and diversity of careers the field.
12:15 – 2:15 pm Session Two : An interactive afternoon session will further engage participants and allow for deepening expression and learning, as participants explore the second certification.
2:00 – 2:15 pm Feedback close of session.
2:30 pm Buses Depart (end time flexible)
